Hydraulic blocks are components used in press brakes to transmit hydraulic force from the pump to the mould.
They consist of a hydraulic cylinder, a piston and a seal. The cylinder is filled with hydraulic oil, which is pumped through a control valve to move the piston. Hydraulic blocks, therefore, are designed to withstand the high pressures resulting from the operation of the press brake itself when processing sheet metal.
This hydraulic block, specifically, is suitable for torsion bar press brakes.
