Hydraulic blocks are components used in press brakes to transmit hydraulic force from the pump to the mould.
They consist of a hydraulic cylinder, a piston and a seal. The cylinder is filled with hydraulic oil, which is pumped through a control valve to move the piston. The hydraulic blocks, therefore, are designed to withstand the high pressures resulting from the operation of the press brake itself when processing sheet metal.
